Fillable Documents
You can import PDFs, with or without fillable inputs, and use our field editor to create documents that US can fill with data. You can use your own leasing documents, maintenance forms, community notices,... and US will fill them in with data so you can print them or archive them for later reference. Every time we fill in a leasing document it is permanently archived and tied to the lease record so you have a record of all leasing documents that were ever filled in.
Nightly Automations
Every night our automated systems go to work generating accounting receivables and sending out notifications. This is how US automatically keeps track of how much is owed for rent and late fees. While you can always adjust who owes how much, this means you do not have to manually enter rent and fee obligations each time they are due - it can all be automated.
Data Security
Each business gets its own database and each person has access only to those databases to which they have been given permission by the account owner. We follow the industry security standard of encrypting data at rest and in transit. There is only a single set of accounting books within each database so users must have be granted access to see a businesses' books.
Flexible Use
You can use UnitSnap to run single family homes, apartment buildings, communities, marinas, storage - anything you can think of. Many of the record types are completely configurable and you can create whatever you need to define how you run your properties. You can define custom types for most records including properties, buildings, units, amenities,... The one caveat we have today is that we do not yet support NNN (triple net) leasing, although that is coming soon.
Customizable Rentroll
Create the rent roll views that you want. We provide a rent roll view editor that allows you to build up a rent roll with any fields that can appear on leases and other commonly calculated values. Because you can define you own lease obligations - monetary or otherwise - you have a lot of flexibility in what you can show in your rent rolls.
Integrated Help & Guide
UnitSnap's purpose is to be useful for you. Throughout the system there are help markers that offer you pointers and suggestions about what you can do or even sometimes what you need to do. When you are first getting started our First Time User Experience agent is activated to provide guidance and teach you how things work.
